This week-long intensive invites adults to dive deep into the world of physical theatre, exploring techniques that awaken creativity, presence, and play. Each day begins with energizing physical warm-ups and interactive team-building games, building the foundation for a supportive and dynamic ensemble. Over the course, participants will: Develop body awareness through corporeal mime, learning to use movement as a tool for emotion and storytelling. Experiment with masks – neutral, half, and full-face – to uncover new dimensions of character and performance. Embrace the world of clowning, using improvisation, movement, and slapstick to create bold, physical characters. Venture into Buffon, exploring satire, parody, and the darker side of clown. Classes are highly physical, come dressed to move. This workshop is ideal for students, performers, or anyone eager to expand their creative toolkit. Perfect for the ambitious, the curious, and the fearless.
