Green Fools Theatre presents the 20th annual April Fool’s Day Parade April 1, 2011, free, family fun!

In keeping with our namesake, our commitment to community and a connection that we embrace with ritual and tradition, we annually mark April Fools Day with a time-honored parade and host a public gathering at our studio. Community participants come in costume and mask or rifle through our supply to become active participants in this local happening. Masked and costumed families, stilt walkers, giant puppets, strollers, bikes, and bagpipers march through Inglewood singing, yelling, laughing and playing instruments, throughout the Beltline community. On arrival at our studio, destination, donated food is devoured and physical theatre skills are introduced. Associate artists lead willing public participates in informal lessons and presentations of juggling, stilt walking and instantaneous clown routines.

Come join in the Parade of Stilt walkers, mask wearers and Fools for all ages! Bring your own costume or wear something of ours. We will be parading back to the Green Fools Theatre where we invite you to stick around with your fellow fools to enjoy activites, snacks, and Green Fools Theatre’s stilt/ mask creations. CHEER ON SPRING!
